Total upload stats way too high

Hi, I am a newbe to this.

I have been using this vpn for a couple of weeks, mainly to download from torrent sites.  All works well, except that I seem to be uploading more than I am downloading!  Torrent stats are fine e.g. upload:134Mb/Down load 2.3Gb, but usage report from Networx and Glasswire report uploads of more than down.  The only app I can see that is transfering data in the openvpn.exe.  Total traffice on my ISP allowance is really big.  Only happens when OpenVPN is on.  Have checked virus/malware etc and closed every other app I can see.  I would be grateful for any suggestions.  Where is this data going and where from?  What data is it?  Any other tools to find out would be gratefully received.  (
