IPtables how to add exception?

Recommended Posts

Hi @ all!

Just need a little help, I'm not that knowledgeable in iptables etc.

But I got a firewall rule for my DD-WRT, that drops traffic as soon the vpn connection is down

iptables -I FORWARD -i br0 -o tun1 -j ACCEPT
iptables -I FORWARD -i tun1 -o br0 -j ACCEPT
iptables -I FORWARD -i br0 -o eth1 -j DROP
iptables -I INPUT -i tun1 -j REJECT
iptables -t nat -A POSTROUTING -o tun1 -j MASQUERADE

Now I need an exception for my modem ip

sometimes I need access so I can check if a tunnel goes down on my isp (I've two)

Is it possible to add an exception to my modem ip 172.56.35.12?

Thanks and take care
