How do I share AirVPV over WIFI in OSX 10.9

I would like to create a wireless hotspot using OSX Mavericks in order to share my VPN. I would be connecting a windows machine and iOS devices. I have chosen this route as I would like to be able to easily turn my wireless signal off when not needed and turn it on just as easily; something that my Airport Extreme is not capable of doing.

 

From what I have gathered I cannot create a hotspot in the usual way when using OpenVPN as it results in a dead connection. 

 

Does anyone know of a way to accomplish this using the OSX Eddie client software?

On Windows I use the Microsoft Virtual Adapter thing - and if I enable Allow Local my WiFi hotspot from my PC will work on my phone through my VPN.
