Speedtest result from airvpn speedtest: Down: 9.427 Mbit/s Out, 3.245 Mbit/s In (34%), 20MB - Up: 2.315 Mbit/s Out, 2.132 Mbit/s In (92%), 20MB - Date: Sun, 23 Nov 2014 20:25:58 GMT - Buffers: 20MB/20MB - Laps: 3, Time: 326.31 secs I get a very slow Download speed. I tested several European Servers but I don't reach 4MBit/s. I also tried the "best" sever from the status page:https://airvpn.org/status/ My internet connection is far better as 4MBit/s without airvpn (more than 30MBit/s are possible and I have a very low ping) edit:Port is 443 / UDPOS: Win 7 x32 Quote Share this post Link to post

Try alternative protocols: https://airvpn.org/faq/software_protocols/ I have to use SSL to overcome my UK ISP doing this. Quote Share this post Link to post
baneofthesith 8 Posted ... Hello, Guys, it's just a personal observation, but it worked for me. I moved into a country where the internet is quite slow. However, I find that I have very good speeds on Romanian and French servers (even above 4 mbit/s). The recommended server usually connects me to a Netherlands server, but they are slower for me than the French and Romanian one. So try all the servers one by one and see which one gives you the best speed. You can use airvpn's speedtest because is saves you a lot of time. Secondly, try different ports. For me UDP 80 works better than the rest. So try looking in your settings. Quote Share this post Link to post

Staff 10014 Posted ... Changing to TCP helped a bit (now getting 7MB/s), different Ports had no effect Hello, yes 7 MB/s (=56 Mbit/s) is an excellent performance, especially in TCP.Since you get higher performance in TCP than in UDP (while it should be the contrary) probabiy your ISP shapes UDP traffic.
