Regular Bsod on Windows 7

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I have recently updated to the latest version of the air client on my laptop running Windows 7. I can't seem to run for 20 mins without getting a Bsod. While the laptop is old it runs rock solid without the client running. I have eliminated everything other than the client as a cause by running it for the last few days.

An ideas what could be causing it?

Hey,

Thank you for using AirVPN Forums. We're glad to help you in regards to your Blue Screen issue on Windows 7 operating system.

I will appreciate if you could provide me detailed information about your computer specifications. Anyways, based on your query the following solutions will be definitely helpful for you:

Check problems with your hard disk, i.e. disk read/ write issues that prevent retrieving/ accessing data in the system files.

1. Double click Computer icon.

2. Right click a partition.

3. Select Properties.

4. Click Tools -> Check Now.

Adjust the Paging File Size again. Set the most appropriate Paging File size as shown below. Then run ActiveX/ DLL registration scan with the help of Reginout. Resolve any internal conflicts found.

1. Right click the Computer icon on your desktop.

2. Select Properties from the context menu.

3. Click “Advanced system settings” link.

4. System Properties dialog will be displayed.

5. Click Settings (Performance) -> Advanced.

6. Click Change (Virtual Memory).

7. Uncheck the box named “Automatically manage the paging file size for all drives”.

8. Select the system drive, usually drive C:\

9. Select “Custom size” option.

10. Increase the current paging file size, and then click Set button.

11. Click OK | OK | OK.

12. Restart your computer for the changes to take effects.

Conduct memory diagnostic process to check whether the problem is associated with the computer memory:

1. Click Start, type "memory" in the Search Box.

2. Open the "Windows Memory Diagnostic".

3. Click "Restart now and check for problems".

Thanks & Regards,

Aaron Sandler.
