We're glad to inform you that the critical, remotely exploitable "shellshock" bug http://seclists.org/oss-sec/2014/q3/650 does not affect our systems, which (if they used bash) have been all patched with appropriate updates.

Thank you very much for the information and for taking care of us.  I have been getting all the US-CERT Bulletins on it and it is nice to come and look over the AirVPN Forums and see that the Net Security/Privacy Issue of my current concern has already been dealt with by Team AirVPN.

 

To date, I have checked on 5 or 6 of the US-CERT / Newsworthy Critical Exploits and so-far AirVPN have had it fixed or addressed before I even knew it was an issue.

 

I am going on 16-Months as a customer and I am very impressed by The Service, The Servers and The People at AirVPN.
