AirVPN does not remember your settings

AirVpn does not remember the settings in the client (windows) and it does not remember your login details either, when windows is starting up...really annoyed when i want it to logon airvpn automatic 

 

is there a fix this? iam new customer, dont know if this is a general problem with the client

please make sure that in the client window to log in the service (the "Overview" tab), "Remember" is ticked before you enter your credentials.

it is ticked - when iam logging in, but as soon iam restarting my pc and windows is starting up, do i have the same problem again - login details is not remembered along with my settings in the client

I also have this problem, on my laptop. My desktop works fine though.

 

Laptop is running Xubuntu 14.04 64bits and Eddie version is 2.4. However, it also had this problem on Eddie 2.3.

 

I've added the logs in attachment. Please let me know if, for some reason, you can't see it.

Had the same issue.

 

Just tick a box you like for your settings/credentials. Then Save.

Exit the client. Start client again.

Check your ticked box settings/credentials.

If all-right, then exit the client. (click disconnect)

Shutdown your device.

Restart device.......

Start client, check.

Side-note. its important that you close your client yourself not your system shutdown.

 

Worked for me in this order.

@highspeedme I didn't try what you wrote, not religiously atleast. I did restart several times and check/unchecked the "remember me" box..

 

I've fixed the problem by uninstalling Eddie and installing it again.

Hi, I signed up recently and I'm also having this problem.  I'm on Windows 8.1, same problem even after  a clean windows recovery.  Save tickbox is ticked.  Tried exiting the client, restarted it and the settings, even logon creds were not saved.

I've solved the problem by deleting the AirVPN folder in the Appdata folder.

Hello!

 

We resolved an issue of the AirVPN Client, about the Windows Autostart option that doesn't load the correct preferences.

 

The issue affected only Windows users, and only those who had chosen the Installer version and not the Portable version. For that, we decided to only patch the current 2.7 release.

 

Please re-download and re-install, enter Preferences and exit at least one time to resolve the issue.

I've just installed the Windows client yesterday. I'm still having the exact same problem. Only happens on computer restart though, but everytime all settings are reset and "remembered" passwords forgotton...

I had problems of AirVPN's client not saving my settings on every PC I've tried. No idea how staff "can't reproduce the issue", perhaps they haven't tried hard enough... Anyway, something that worked for me was TICK THE BOX BEFORE FILLING IN THE INFO. 

 

Whoever is having this problem, please try clicking on the "remember me" option before writing your details. Let us know if that worked for you.
