cowboy 0 Posted ... I am trying to use the latest AirVPN client (Eddie 2.3) on Mac OS X 10.9.3. The application opens fine and I am able to log-in, but then it hangs indefinitely and stops responding. I have tried reinstalling several times. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks. Staff 9973 Posted ... Hello! Can you please try it in command line mode and report back? From a CLI:sudo airvpn -cli -login=your login> -password=your password> Replace airvpn with the actual Eddie path and filename. Kind regard Quote Share this post Link to post

Zoe-cf1 0 Posted ... I have had similar problems on Mac OS X10.9.3 & 10.9.4 using AirVPN version 2.3, after lots of deleting and reinstalling I have found the culprit to be the Saved application state (found at user/library/Saved Application State/com.airvpn.client.savedState). Unlike the other saved application state files for my other apps the AirVPN one gets locked (with a little red no entry logo in the bottom right of the folder) and it requires admin privileges to delete this. Once deleted and AirVPN restarted it connects OK. Quote Share this post Link to post
z3r0on3 2 Posted ... Same problem here. OSX 10.9.4I solved it (hopefully not only for the moment) with:Shift+Open the Application (this is the "saved application state" Link I also gave the client full privilegs Quote Share this post Link to post
z3r0on3 2 Posted ... Same here!OSX 10.9.4 I solved it (hopefully not for the moment) with this: Holding the "shift" key while opening the application. I also gave AirVPN.app full privileges in Terminal. Quote Share this post Link to post
htpc 9 Posted ... Same problem here. OSX 10.9.4I solved it (hopefully not only for the moment) with:Shift+Open the Application (this is the "saved application state" Link I also gave the client full privilegs thx, that solved the problem for me too. just out of curiosity, is there any benefit other than the GUI over using Tunnelblick on OSX? On a sidenote, it would be cool if the client could run in the menubar alone (without the actual application beeing opened in the dock)! Quote Share this post Link to post
Breeze 2 Posted ... Hello, if you want to remove the AirVPN app icon from the dock do the following: Exit AirVPN.app (Important !!).Open the Info.plist inside the AirVPN.app in a TextEditor. (AirVPN.app/Contents/Info.plist)and paste the following two lines just after the <dict> tag: <key>LSUIElement</key><string>1</string> Save and Quit Editor.Open AirVPN.app (Dock Icon should be hidden now). This tells Launch Services to run the application as an agent application.Agent applications do not appear in the Dock. This works with other Application too. However, if this does not work for you, try this instead: <key>LSUIElement</key><true/> Hope this helps. 2 htpc and rainmakerraw reacted to this Quote Share this post Link to post
airvpn.teiuxcg 4 Posted ... Hi I have an issue with Eddie 2.3 crashing on OSX (and requesting xcode install). It doesn't seem consistent as to when it crashes though. Here's a log from one of the crashes, is there a function where I can post more or should I just put them all on here? Is there a mode where it can give a more verbose output?
