No internet access and high upload wrongly shown

Recommended Posts

Hi everyone,

ever since I got a new laptop with Windows 8.1 I have been having problems with AirVPN. For some reason, whenever I log on and connect to any of the servers, the little window shows no Download but an unnaturally high upload - though I'm not uploading anything. At the same time, the internet stops working. I hope you can help?

I have seen this post with a similar problem but the suggested solution doesn't solve my problem unfortunately.

Below is the copy of the log file from just now. The closing of the connection at the end was done by me before copying the log to the clipboard:

Yeah, I'm having the same problem, only in my case, I'm not using a new computer or doing anything differently.  I can connect to the AirVPN servers, but I have an unusually high upload (even though I'm not uploading anything), no download, and no ability to connect to the internet.  What's going on?

This means that it might be something related to AirVPN. Strangely, if I disconnect and connect multiple times, there might be one time when it works. But more often than not I just get those unusually high upload speeds and no connection to the Internet whatsoever.

Dear AirVPN team, please help!! I've been using your service for a while now and never had this problem before...

I'm having EXACTLY the same problem on Windows 8.1

It will work for a while, but then it will just suddenly start doing this. The only thing that fixes it is rebooting, which is a pain the bum!
