choq 7 Posted ... Hi all, on Ubuntu 12.10 with networkmanager-openvpn enabled I am able to import the generated Airvpn config. into the networkmanager after getting root. Seems logical, and makes sense. After this procedure I am able to start a vpn connection. (Other than mulvad without root rights.) On Ubuntu 12.04 with the same networkmanager set-up, I am able ,with the new conf. generator, to import connections in the networkmanager without root rights. This is a bit confusing for me. On Ubuntu 14.04, as we all know, networkmanager has no importbutton, which is a Ubuntu bug. Question: do I have to be root, to configure networkmanager-openvpn and Airvpn, or not? kind regards choq Quote Share this post Link to post
