I always use the 'BitcoinCodes.com' link. It's the original way from way back, for AirVPN. You just go to the site, select your length of time for Air. Then it'll say "Send This Much BTC To Adresss..." As soon as you do, a code will pop up (and they can email it to an address as well, if you wish - obviously it should be an anon email address if that is your goal). Then when you buy/renew on the Air site, just eneter the code in the appropriate field. I just renewed last month, went smooth, as usual.

1) You are wrong. You don't need an account on Coinbase or BitPay to pay. Just deliver to the specified address the correct amount of BTC. Just like you wish. We have no idea why you assume otherwise.
