Getting a "Unable to connect to the remote server" error on login

I've been using AirVPN with the GUI for months with no issues, up to yesterday. Today, when I try to log in, it sits at the Login screen for an unusually long time, and then I get an error window with the message "Unable to connect to the remote server". I've changed no network settings since I last used AirVPN.

I had spotted an older post asking for pings of airvpn.org, it comes back 95.211.138.143

Any assistance would be appreciated!
