Cannot connect to airVPN servers behind WatchGuard

Hello everyone ,

 

I am having trouble connecting to airvpn servers. I am behind an aggresively set and monitored watchguard firewall system which blocks most ports and also proxy connections. Is there any chance for me to be able to use airvpn service?

Try other protocols, ports and/or servers.

Also consider trying OpenVPN over SSH/SSL, if everything fails.

Also, please ascertain whether your node is behind a proxy or not.

 

If so, OpenVPN can connect over a proxy but you'll need to know in advance:

 

- proxy type

- proxy IP address or reachable name

- proxy listening port

- proxy authentication mode (if any)

- proxy credentials (if any)

Hello,

 

yes, that's ordinary, it might have a blacklist or a whitelist, or it might work in synergy with a proxy. For this you should try to understand your network and if your node is behind a proxy.

I HAVE a watchguard, and access to fully configure it. I would like the information I need to be able to configure it to connect through L2tp or sstp. I DOES have perfect foward security as well. I have an XTM 25, but its so granular, Im going to need the specific settings of your servers, down to the diffie helman group numbers for phase 1 and phase 2.... It also supports 512 aes, ssl, etc etc etc. Can you help me get it configured to be the most secure client ever??~?
