Connection not working properly

Recommended Posts

Hello,
I have a problem with AirVPN. I can connect to any server without problems, but then I have no connection to the internet.
I testet it with my Computer and my Laptop, both running Windows 7 x64.
Has anybody an idea why it is not working ?
It seems that DNS is working, but I can't even ping web destinations.

Skype somehow works too ...

Here are two screentshots

The left routing table if before I connect to a server, and the right routing table

ist after I've connected

Looks like you are getting Name Resolution for www.heisse.de. What happens if you do the following:

As Administrator:

ipconfig /flushdns

tracert google.com

ping 10.4.0.1

ping 8.8.8.8

Dunno, I've seen many threads (5 or 6) on this Forum with Staff asking users to run these commands but none of them have a resolution (or a response).

Routing table looks fine. If this behavior is on multiple machines it's probably not a Winsock or TAP issue.

Have you tried different ports (UDP 53, TCP 80 ot TCP 443), or perhaps another server?

Do you run the same anti-malware and firewall on these machines? Perhaps they are gunking things up?

If those don't work you might want to open a ticket. If you do, it would be nice if you resolve it you post the resolution here.

Curious- this probably won't work but try browsing to https://95.211.138.143. That's airvpn's front-end server. If anything does load, it'll probably be a warning because the certificate is issued to *.airvpn.org.

Hello amnesty,
Thanks for your response, I haven't tried other ports till now because I haven't recognized the tab till now.
I tried port 53 and it worked. Thank you very much ;-)

The other ports don't work, I can't say why.
On my laptop port 53 works too.
Maybe there's a problem with the router ?! I don't know.
Greetings Sauerkraut
